About Baby Steps

At Our Core

Baby Steps is a modern sanctuary

A welcoming space, where you can find specialist care. A collaborative space for those who nurture.

What do parents need in a sanctuary?

A place where they can show up in all their glorious mess, with no expectation of ‘keeping it together’. A place where children are allowed to be little - where they can play, build, draw and explore without worrying that they’ll disrupt the calm. A place where parents won’t be stared at if they become tearful or anxious; where there are caring people ready to help settle their baby, if they so desire. A place where mothers are safe to nourish their children anytime, anywhere. Where beauty can be found in unexpected corners - a gentle reminder that life itself is beautiful.

What do specialists need in a sanctuary?

A place where they can practise independently; empowered, but not isolated. Where they can design their own business, without worrying about its operations. A place that advocates for their professional development and provides the means to advance it. That incorporates the latest technologies and innovations to enhance their clinical practice. Where the environment is intentionally curated to reduce stress and allow for increased focus on patient care. A place that inspires joy, even when the demands of medicine overwhelm.
