About Us

We care for women through pregnancy, the early post birth weeks, recovery and preparation for return to exercise and sex.

Our other special interests are pelvic floor rehabilitation, continence care and sexual pain syndromes for men and women.

Genesis Physiotherapy is located at the Baby Steps Health Centre in Wembley.

Truely collaborative care

Because we are a part of the Baby Steps team, we can look after ALL of you.

If you come to see us for ultrasound treatment of mastitis and we recognise you need antibiotics, our GPs are just a door knock away.

If you are booked in for a postnatal body check and your scars aren’t fully healed, a GP Obstetrician is available for consultation.

If we think your breast pain could be helped by more specific guidance from a Lactation Consultant, we can get you seen quickly.

Everyone is here to support you – ALL of you.

Our History

We are proud

Genesis physiotherapy was first registered in 1993 by Cheryl Bryce.

We have a long history of association with St John of God Hospital Subiaco, where to this day we continue to work on the maternity wards helping new mothers with their recovery.

Genesis Physiotherapy moved to the Baby Steps Health Centre in an effort to offer more truely collaborative care. We work alongside the Baby Steps specialists – Lactation Consultants, GPs and Nurse Practitioners, improving health outcomes for our patients.
