Agner is an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who strives to provide a holistic and evidence-based approach to all her patients. She works on the Maternity ward at SJOG hospital as well as in the Genesis clinic. She ensures all her patients are well informed, empowered and equipped to manage their presenting conditions.

Agner has a passion for tailoring individualised treatment plans for women during their pregnancy and postnatal journeys. She treats pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, guides management of abdominal muscle separation rehabilitation and treatment of inflammatory breast conditions. She is also equipped to assist in the management of incontinence disorders and pelvic organ prolapse. 

She has Clinical Pilates qualifications, completing both her Mat-work and Equipment Pilates training through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and has experience teaching within antenatal and postnatal settings. She enjoys guiding women from all fitness backgrounds and helping them to build strength and improve their quality of life. 

Agner is currently completing her Masters specialising in Continence and Women’s Health at Curtin University. 

The Clinical Guidance Committee advise Baby Steps on all clinical matters effecting the health practitioners within our centre. It’s members gather together to discuss and develop guidelines relating to:

Meetings are held several times a year, or at the request of Baby Steps for specific clinical advice. It is lead by a chairperson and educational coordinator, elected by the group of participating health practitioners.
