Dr Georgiana Stanton

Dr Georgiana Stanton has worked in all areas of medicine, including Paediatrics and Obstetrics, in both Western Australia and Victoria.

She has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

She has training in Psychiatry, and special interests in perinatal anxiety and developmental paediatrics.

A mother of two, she is also a professional reader, ceramicist and gardener.

Perinatal anxiety seems to fade away in the presence of Georgie, whose sense of fun is somehow not impeded by her practical knowledge and experience. She takes great care in keeping her advice grounded and her patient support always open.

The Clinical Guidance Committee advise Baby Steps on all clinical matters effecting the health practitioners within our centre. It’s members gather together to discuss and develop guidelines relating to:
