Paediatricians in Perth

Paediatricians provide assessment, diagnosis and evidence based management of conditions in babies and children up to 14 years of age. Consultations are child-centred, sensitive, and friendly, and assessments are tailored to the specific needs of each individual child.

If you’re feeling unsure about your child’s development — or wondering whether further support is needed — the GPs at Baby Steps can guide you. They can escalate priority cases, help you prepare for assessments, and ensure nothing gets missed while you wait.

For questions about bookings, fees, or appointment types, our admin team is happy to assist.

For all clinical or developmental concerns, we recommend booking in with a Baby Steps GP, or your current therapist or Paediatrician.

The child development system is currently overwhelmed — and we know how stressful that is for parents. At Baby Steps, we care for thousands of families going through this same process. We are doing our best to support each one, and to be part of the solution for the WA community.

Those based at Baby Steps take time to explain what’s happening, so that you feel fully informed, and that your child’s symptoms make sense to both you and them.
